If you’re looking at travelling abroad and need something to protect your precious wheels, without the expense of buying a box, we have the solution for you.

Bike Box Alan Easyfit 

We have Bike Box Alan Easyfit boxes for hire. These are the easiest boxes to pack and will allow for TT bikes as well as road bikes. There is minimal disassembly (usually only the pedals). These boxes are the best if you have a bike with hydraulic breaks and integrated bars as this box does not require removal of the bars, therefore, there is no risk in damaging cables on reassembly. You can be back up and running in as little as 15 minutes!

Please note, your bike box hire is only secured once hire payment has been received.

Bike Box Hire Charges

We include 1 day either side of the hire, free of charge, to allow you time to pick up and drop off the box. Charges are £10 per day with a minimum of 7 days hire.

Example:

1 week hire (9 days) - £70
10 day hire (12 days) - £100

Payment options

Dates will be secured on receipt of payment of the hire fee. A deposit will be required prior to the hire (or can be paid at the same time). The box cannot be released if this hasn’t been received. 

Payment details will be in the agreement.

Agreement and Deposit

A deposit of £150 is required, this is refundable on the safe return of the box to Bike Box Adventures.

Two forms of ID are required; either a passport or driving license and a proof of address to be dated within the last 3 months.

You will be required to fill in our Bike Box Hire Agreement form when receiving the box from us.

Delivery/collection

We are based in Tamworth for collection. However, we can also arrange for delivery dependent on location for an additional charge. Please let us know if this is something you require and we can let you know a price.

Cancellations

The Hirer is able to cancel the reservation up to 2 weeks prior to the hire for a full refund and up to 1 week before for a 50% refund.

Cancellation less than 1 week will not receive a refund of the hire fee. In all cases the security deposit will be refunded in full if already paid.

Damages

Damages to the box outside of fair travel wear and tear will be deductible from the security deposit:

Clasp/wheel charge: £15

Lost/damaged TSA locks: £5

Areas we cover

We are based in Tamworth, but of course if you need the box and can collect it you can hire it!

The main areas we cover are: Tamworth, Lichfield, Birmingham, Derby, Burton-on Trent, Leicester, Stoke-On-Trent, Rugely, Cannock and all areas in The Midlands

Transporting your bike with our bike boxes is at your own risk. We ensure that the boxes are in good condition before they are hired and cannot accept responsibility for damages to bicycles in transit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured for transportation.
